Overview
Cucina is an award winning company setting new benchmarks within the food service industry in education. Cucina provide contract catering for secondary schools, turning Jamie Oliver’s vision of healthy food service into reality. Cucina is about making school food fun, with great-tasting, freshly-cooked food for students and staff in private and state education.
The brief
To design and build a site that would mark Cucina as major players in the catering for schools industry. The website needed to be content managed and have the ability to expand to accommodate both a staff zone and an online retail shop.
The process
Our team started by researching all of their major competitors in their industry sector and produced a strategy which would both embrace and enhance their brand. We initially created a site structure to explain the navigation followed by comprehensive visuals of the whole site on request. We also provided the copywriting and photography too. On going work includes Search Engine Optimisation, Case Studies and News Features.
The outcome
Weaver Creative have provided the first stage of the Cucina website on time and within the agreed budget. The second phase of the site is now in the planning to produce the Staff Zone, where Cucina Staff will be able to access key information, manuals and documents, including news updates.

John O’Conner is one of the largest privately owned independent ground maintenance companies in the UK and have been in business for over 40 years. Over this time they have successfully grown and they considered it time to refresh their image as traditional yet forward thinking company engrained with family owned values.
The brief
Weaver Creative were asked to provide a new identity and provide brand awareness for John O’Conner which made them stand out from their competitors.
The process
Weaver Creative working in partnership with Archer Marketing Consultants produced comprehensive competitor research and provided a brand strategy to position John O’Conner as leaders within their marketplace.
The outcome
Weaver Creative delivered a great new identity and brand for John O’Conner which they are really pleased with. Weaver successfully enhanced their market positioning for John O’Conner through various marketing collateral within deadline and budget with a fantastic response from both the client and their customers alike. Delivering: graphic design for corporate identity, website, newsletters, vehicle livery and brochures to be policed by new brand guidelines that we also created.

Sauflon Pharmaceuticals

Overview
Sauflon are market-leaders in the UK contact lens solutions field; leading the way in the multi-purpose solution market – the fastest growing sector in the contact lens aftercare market. With headquarters in London, UK, Sauflon Pharmaceuticals, our high-quality contact lenses and aftercare products reach opticians, optometrists, eye doctors and eye care professionals globally in over fifty countries.
The brief
Sauflon had been using exhibition stand designers and builders but felt that were not getting the level of service and design that the they expect for their expenditure. We we are asked to design a stand that could be used in two shows in the UK and Germany where various elements could be re-used from site to site over a number of years.
The process
Weaver Creative attended briefing meetings from Sauflon to understand their requirements and interperate the different cultural requirements for the German and the UK needs. We were given budget targets to meet across the two stands over a number of years to which we were to work. In the first instance Weaver Creative produced design and 3D visuals to demonstrate the viability of the stand allowing the Sauflon to provide essential feedback to enable us to finalise the design and final costings.
The outcome
Weaver Creative designed, built and managed external contractors for the first stand in Munich over a three day build, three day show and dismantle period. The exhibition stand had three meeting rooms a lounge area, bar and storage. The stand had a foot-print of 108msq. The Manchester stand shown at BCLA was smaller but utilised elements from the Munich stand. This was used to launch a new world first contact lens. The stand was extremely well received by both Sauflon and their guest and it exceeded all of their expectations both visually and practically.
